About This Quote

A question that speaks to the world we live in today. Why can't people just sit and read books and be nice to each other? Why can't they go to a movie or a sports game without being bothered? Why can't they go to the park and play sports with each other without having to worry about their safety? What about their health? Are we saying that we want children and adults to live in fear of getting hurt while walking down the street, while walking down the hall of their school, while walking down the street in front of their house? We all know this isn’t how it’s supposed to be. Nobody wants to live like that.
